Hello there! I have worked and lived abroad in Australia, London, Edinburgh, Canada, Hong Kong and now China. For me, the journey is as much about the people I meet and the cultures I immerse myself in as it is about the destinations themselves. I thrive on sharing culture and our differences, find happiness in connecting with others, and in creating memories of laughter and learning. Whether it's lending a hand on a sustainable farm, teaching English in a remote village, or contributing to a community project, I'm ready to roll up my sleeves and dive into meaningful experiences that enrich my life and the lives of those I meet.

While Cantonese is my first language, I speak English fluently as if it were my native language. I am travelling China and Taiwan to learn Mandarin. I am more than happy to tutor English.

I am TEFL certified. I have volunteer experience teaching English to children in China. Would you like to practice with me?

Working with communities
Requires a high level of empathy, active listening, time management, problem-solving, organisation and ability to lead and support team members. I am Cert IV qualified in aged-care and disability support work. Things I have done include facilitating tactile art workshops for deaf-blind people to learn new skills and socialise. Address housing needs for Indigenous Australians, and participated in initiatives aimed at enhancing living standards, education, and well-being.

Graphic design
Freelanced for over 10 years, running my own show, and finding new clients through word of mouth. I have excellent technical skills including Adobe CS, design layouts, photo editing, UX, campaign rollouts, and infographics, just to name a few. I have a knack for collaborating and adapting to different team cultures quite quickly.

Resiliency
Happy to camp and rough it without utilities for long periods of time. Not afraid to get dirty to get the job done. Experience in dairy farming and cattle station hand, cook, gardener and assist in mustering. Not a lot of strength but I can power on.

Administration and customer service
I am pretty quick on the computer, very detailed and organised. If you need any administration done for your office or reception, I can help.

I thrive on outdoor adventures, always on the move and eager to meet new people, explore new places and experience new cultures. My passion is in community services and development, where I aim to make a positive impact wherever I go. From lending a helping hand in remote villages to participating in local initiatives, I find fulfilment in contributing to the well-being of others while having the opportunity to listen to their stories.

I am a lover of animals, whether it's cuddling up with a furry friend or having the opportunity to care for them brings me so much joy.

Sustainability is important to me, especially recycling and reducing waste. When my hips give in and I can no longer travel, I aspire to run an organisation to rescue food surplus and redistribute to those in need, and feed myself too.

I do yoga and meditation sometimes, but probably not as much as I should!
