Hi all!
My name is Maria and I'm from the USA! I recently graduated college with degrees in Environmental Studies and History, and am looking to take a break from traditional schooling for a while. I grew up on a small farm and love working with and caring for all types of animals, especially sheep! I have experience with transhumant shepherding and would love to continue down that path. Additionally, I love farming, gardening, making meals to share with my loved ones, and eating all sorts of tasty food!

I have experience farming and gardening, as well as some general farm maintenance. I have worked in the restaurant industry for the past four years so I have good customer service skills and love talking to guests and new people. I'm never afraid to roll up my sleeves and get my hands dirty in order to do a good job.
I practiced animal husbandry for close to six years and have a pretty good handle on taking care of all types of critters :)
I love to cook and am always trying out new recipes or ways to create delicious and healthy meals.

Some hobbies I have been developing over quarantine are knitting (my grandma taught me over Skype), taking care of sourdough bread starters, and reading poetry. My favorite poet right now is probably Anne Carson!
