Description
My guesthouse is a wonderful old wood house, located in the famous Barrio Las Peñas in Guayaquil, a bohemian neighborhood, with great bars surrounding the place at the most touristic part of this tropical city. The leitmotiv of the house is art, so probably an exposition or a play could be part of was going on here.

Arnaldo was very kind to accept my rather last minute request to work here. I had a very comfortable stay throughout the week.
The work was mostly housekeeping, nothing too difficult.
When Arnaldo was free, he would take me and the other volunteers out, which was really nice of him. He’s a generous and funny Jefe!

Excelente mi primer experiencia Workaway. Pasé dos semanas aquí, el hostel está en la mejor zona de Guayaquil y en la casa se respira un ambiente fresco y tranquilo. I am my friend Alejandro were volunteering here for 2 weeks. The gest house is very beautiful, so it was good to stay a while in this place. The job I did was housekeeping , making breakfast and cleaning. Then we still have a lot of time to enjoy the city. The employees here are friendly. I had a good time here.

We had a great time during our first Workaway. Arnaldo is an excellent host and a great guy. His house is probably the coolest place in Guayaquil, in the best district. The work involved pretty much all aspects of running a B&B, so it was a great learning experience for us, and we were sorry to leave.
