Description

Hi! I’m a 29-year-old girl from Poland. I’ve been living in New Zealand and exploring this beautiful country since November 2025. Even though life abroad can be scary and overwhelming at times, I really enjoy my time here and I’m grateful every day for this opportunity.

Before coming to New Zealand, I spent five years studying engineering and completing my master’s degree in HVAC. After graduating, I worked for five years in the refrigeration industry. Last year, I decided to make one of my long-lasting dreams come true and applied for a Working Holiday Visa in New Zealand.

During my stay here, I’d love to gain new perspectives and skills, try as many new things and activities as possible, and meet both local people and other travellers. I love deep conversations, exchanging life experiences, and listening to other people’s stories.

I have an engineering background with a specialization in HVAC. My work in the refrigeration industry was very fulfilling, and I may consider returning to this field in the future. Currently, I am focused on gaining new experiences and trying out different types of work.

So far, my experience comes mainly from Workaway, which has included gardening, household chores, and helping in the kitchen of a small donut business. I enjoy learning new things, I’m not afraid of challenges, I have an eye for detail, and I always strive to perform my tasks professionally.

If the weather allows, I like spending my free time outdoors - hiking, running ect.
I am an active person, always ready to join a fitness/yoga/pilates class or a running club.
I love animals, back home I have a lovely cat that I miss a lot!
I really enjoy cooking and sharing a meal with other people.
In my free time I like crocheting toys for kids or reading a book.
Recently I also took up photography. :)
I passed an exam and got my sailing license but I don't have much experience.
