Description
I have lived in Paihia for 11 years and enjoyed every moment that this paradise has to offer. My home is situated in Te Haumi and I have a stunning view over the bay to Russell. Over the last 8 years I have welcomed guests through my bnb accommodation and have met some wonderful people from all corners of the world, many have remained friends. A key feature of my home besides the view is my garden and that's where I need help from time to time as I'm not getting any younger.
I'm a free spirited woman that enjoys going with the flow, being kind and considerate, meeting interesting and intelligent people, and living a peaceful life.
Although I am only about 5 minutes from Paihia central by car, its about 45 minute walk from here into Paihia so having your own transport is a bonus. I travel down to Paihia most days and am always willing to drop people off or pick up if needed.
Paihia has a lot to offer and is a traveler's paradise - beautiful beaches, heaps of walks, Waitangi Treaty grounds, fishing, diving, kayaking, great bars and incredible live music by local musicians.
Definately need help over the coming months (Sept/Oct/Nov) and then over December through to March basically gardening as my garden is quite big and always weeding, trimming, general maintenance to be done. Possible opportunity for you to also find a local part time job in your free time as generally demand for hospitaility workers over holiday season in locl bars and restaurants.) We can sort out a flexible arrangement where you can help me part of the day and undertake a part time paid job while staying with me.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Always enjoy giving travellers a taste of the local community scene, taking in the vibe and atmosphere, listening to great live music, or taking a drive to some of the beautiful bays and beaches up the coast. Also enjoy having a few friends over for a meal, interesting conversations, laughter and sometimes a lounge jam session.
I have lived a very full life and relish the wisdom I have gained along the way which I like to share with others if I feel it will help them in their journey through life. -
Help
Basically assisting me with gardening is the go - weeding, trimming, landscaping, etc. We may do work together or I can explain what I want and leave you to complete the task.

Accommodation
Make yourself comfortable in a lovely room in my house and share living with me. I have a great view, and it is very peaceful and quiet.
I enjoy cooking and am an excellent cook. Love preparing food with others so meals can be a shared experience. I am a meat eater but also enjoy vegetarian and love seafood.
I do have a pussycat named BB, she adopted my a few years ago and is the queen of the garden. Spends most of her time outside but comes and goes as she pleases. Not really a picking up cat but loves to be stroked. -
