Hey!

We are HANNA (29) and MAGNUS (33), a young couple from ESTONIA. After working and studying for most of our lives, we would like to DISCOVER new places and MEET new and interesting people from all over the world. We are INDEPENDENT couple who love TRAVELLING and ANIMALS, especially DOGS.

We would really like to experience the true spirit of different countries, national cuisines, everyday lives and customs. Getting this kind of experience would make our lives and travelling more enjoyable.

With the help of WORKAWAY COMMUNITY we've done trips through parts of Europe, Australia & New Zealand. During our trips we learned a lot about different aspects of life, how to get by in a new environment and more importantly, learned about ourselves - what motivates us, how we like to travel and live our life, what to look for in life.

Our mother tongue is Estonian but we both speak pretty good English. We are open to LEARNING new WORKING SKILLS and getting LANGUAGE PRACTISE through meeting locals.

Preferably we would like to STAY in one place from 2 weeks up to 1 month.

We are HARD-WORKING, TIDY, RESPONSIBLE and our timetable is FLEXIBLE.

We have had previous WORKAWAY EXPERIENCES in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, France, Spain, Portugal, Australia (VIC, TAS) and New Zealand.

M A G N U S has studied FORESTRY and ARBORISTICS and has had work-experience as a lifeguard, as a WAITER and BARMEN, as a COOK in a fast food restaurant, in CONSTRUCTION and WOODWORKING, industrial and post-construction CLEANING and window washing service and in a wood planer mill, as a ROADWORKER, as a FOREST RANGER (forestry, hunting, fishing) and doing part-time FORESTRY / TREE CARE work. Experienced in operating machinery and safely using different tools.

H A N N A has had work experience in HOUSEKEEPING (B&Bs, guesthouses and boutique river cruise) and ADMINISTRATION, has worked as a BARMAID / WAITRESS, CLIENTS COORDINATOR, also some odd temporary jobs in different production factories.

In 2024-2026 we did a working holiday years in Australia and NZ and experienced working in different settings (orchards, landscaping & gardening, painting, hospitality housekeeping & maintenance, shows / carnivals).

We both went to summer camps for youth during the summers growing up where we had some easy tasks like WEEDING, LANDSCAPING, PAINTING etc. Growing up in private households, WORKING OUTSIDE has always been a thing to do. We both have a DRIVING LICENSE and have experience in different FARM WORKS (picking, packing and general maintenance).

During our workaway stays we have helped out our hosts with:
GARDENING and ARBORICULTURE (weeding, mowing, strimming lawn and hedges, spraying, cutting back trees;cutting, splitting and storing firewood;
ANIMALCARE (dogs, cats, chickens, turkeys, geese, ducks, sheep, pigs, horses, cows);
PET- and HOUSESITTING; childcare;
CONSTRUCTION (woodworking; plastering / painting inside & outside; sanding / painting / restoring furniture & shutters; building fences);
general household tasks, cooking, cleaning, organizing spaces;
CLEANING B&B rooms and apartments;
social media promotion, trekking and camping preparation, driving and dealing with paying clients and lots of more things.

What else ...

We come from a small town located in southern part of Estonia. Estonia is quite small country and there's only about 1 million of us.

Magnus likes singing in a choir and playing football, floorball, and volleyball with his friends.

Hanna enjoys dancing and cooking, she also loves taking care of her family dog Berta. Hanna is magical with all kinds of animals, some might even call her an animal whisperer.

We love spending time in the nature and parks, hiking / trekking, fossicking, bicycle riding, playing ping pong and discgolf, playing boardgames, pool / billiard, bar games and learning about new and interesting outdoor activities.

We are MEAT-EATERS and aren't looking for hosts that have strict vegetarian / vegan households.

We enjoy company and laughter, sharing meals and a glass of wine / beer, chatting and listening stories about life, travelling, different experiences. We love coffee.
