HI! I'm a mature, semi-retired animal lover who spent 20 years working as an animal nurse in a veterinary clinic. I've been vegan for 30+ years. I'm interested in walking (with dogs, of course), movies, travel, games, and just general sightseeing. I also have a BS in journalism, and I can help with editing in English.

This was truly a wonderful workaway experience.

Anir treats her workawayers as guests. She gives us the biggest bedroom with a wonderful, small balcony overlooking the charming village, and she gives us sole use of a large, well-equipped bathroom adjacent to the bedroom. At some point during my two-week stay in Dagmar's home I surprised myself by writing a friend to say I loved her dogs more than my own!
