Hi! I absolutely love travelling, meeting new people, immersing myself in nature and having new experiences. Workaway is perfect for me as it puts me out of my comfort zone and helps me grow as a person. The more I know the more I can give!
I'm from Sydney, Australia, and recently moved to Germany. In Australia my job was a primary school teacher and I bring that passion for education with me when I travel, I love working with children! Although last year I was volunteering at a school in Tanzania where I spent little time engaging with students but was more involved in curriculum development and teacher training, which I found challenging but very rewarding. I also love working outside, especially gardening. I'm a quick learner and started doing some construction projects last year, mostly building fences.
I'm easygoing, friendly but a little but shy at first, motivated and love learning new skills.

I am very interested in teaching languages! Unfortunately there is only one language that I can speak fluently. I have worked as an English teacher in countries such as Spain and Kiribati and deeply enjoyed those experiences. I speak very basic Spanish and would love to learn more, I also am learning German but am only at the beginners stage. There is no language that I would not like to try to learn! Last year I started learning Shona, Swahili, Arabic and German while travelling.
