Done some WWOOF work as well as my own gardening. I am into regenerative farming and use of compost for soil enrichment. Even built my own moldering privy to enrich soil and decrease water usage. I source, cut and split my own firewood each year. I have done forest clearing for fire mitigation. I love most outdoor projects and gardening. Indoors, I am a reasonably good cook and have done all the cleaning/organizing chores you can imagine.

I am blessed with a wonderful travel companion, Charlie, my 8 y.o. St. Bernard. He is the most friendly and well-behaved dog you'll ever meet! Loves people and other animals.
I also have a well-established mindfulness practice and am quite fulfilled in quiet time.

Rick is what every Workaway host wants, he is hard working, competent, friendly and he approaches every task with a great attitude. Plus his dog is great too!

Mike (Peggy & Pat) were wonderful hosts and very accommodating!! There were multiple RVs/conversion vans on the property for comfortable, private accommodation. And the land is truly on the edge of town, with miles and miles of desert BLM land around to hike (walk my dog). Such a beautiful night sky!
