Profile information
Description
I am an outgoing, hardworking and dynamic girl with a passion for animals, sustainability, humanitarian issues, feminism, books, and community. I am travelling with my friendly, 25kg dog Leo - He loves cuddles and has a great temperament. He is half labrador retriever (gundog), half lurcher (sighthounds eg. greyhounds.) He has had extensive training, not just fancy tricks, that make him a pleasure to live with and a polite hiking partner (trail manners matter!). He is neutered, fully vacinated, insured and has a tractive tracker attached to his collar (big bulky blue thing in picture 3) so i can always see exactly where he is!
We are both adventurous and open-minded, I am eager to exchange and experience culture, customs and the boring day to day, contributing wherever we go. Recently, going through the motions of life, i find myself wanting to do self reflection and really find some community. I may look the opposite but I am not afraid to get stuck in/get dirty (the dog makes sure i do). I am physically fit, used to go to the gym a lot, capable of heavy lifting and easily walking 10 miles. I am happy to do repetitive or unappealing work/tasks. Ideally i'd love to stay for 2-3 months, that way i can really settle in and make myself useful. But i am always flexible!
In the future, i would love to own a campervan, and i think i will still continue to do workaway for the next year.
I love food and trying new dishes (i am a decent cook!) and have no dietary restrictions. I would definetly consider changing diet to vegetarian after eating mostly veggie this year so far, but would struggle to go fully vegan (unless u can provide a good cheese alternative😭). My dog eats both meat and veg.Interests
