Description
Hello! We are Cami and Gui,
a Brazilian couple from the south of Brazil, united by a love for a simple, conscious life in harmony with nature and people. We met in Praia do Rosa (Santa Catarina) — a special place that marked the beginning of our story and awakened in us the desire to experience the world in a lighter, more present and meaningful way.
Some time ago, we decided to turn this dream into reality and we are now living this journey through volunteering. Each experience has been deeply transformative: we are loving the cultural exchange, the constant learning, and the opportunity to live realities we never imagined. In every place, we are amazed by breathtaking landscapes, inspiring stories and genuine connections.
More than just traveling, we choose to truly live each place. We love integrating into the local lifestyle, respecting the rhythms of nature and immersing ourselves in different cultures with curiosity and sensitivity. For us, volunteering is a bridge between worlds, people and learning.
About us:
• Gui is a photographer and content creator with a sensitive eye for capturing everyday life, people, and nature. He loves early mornings, outdoor walks, and observing the surroundings with presence and respect. He doesn’t eat meat by choice and follows a conscious lifestyle that stays connected to the environment.
• Cami is an architect and creative entrepreneur. She runs a brand called Leve Mar, where she creates beach accessories using upcycled materials — combining design, environmental awareness, and natural beauty. She’s vegan, deeply connected to the earth, art, and simplicity, and values care, silence, and the beauty of small things.
What we love to do and share:
We love creating content, photography and artistic/manual projects, and getting involved in meaningful daily activities. We’re always happy to help with daily tasks — cooking, cleaning, organizing spaces or supporting creative and sustainable projects.
We believe in genuine exchanges based on respect, active listening and care for simplicity and what truly matters.
Our journey today:
After experiencing different volunteering projects, we feel deeply grateful for this path. Living alongside local communities, learning new skills and being surrounded by inspiring nature has become an essential part of who we are. This journey is shaping us in beautiful and unexpected ways.
We continue traveling with open hearts, ready to contribute, grow and share simple, meaningful experiences wherever we go.
With love,
Cami & Gui

More details about your skills
We believe that helping is one of the best ways to learn. We bring with us practical skills, sensitivity, and a strong desire to contribute with what we know.
• Gui has a keen eye and previous experience managing a guesthouse, taking care of reception, guests, and all the day-to-day details. He’s also a photographer and loves creating images with soul and intention.
• Cami combines her background in architecture with creativity and care. She has worked as a barista, is experienced with coffee, plant-based cooking, and hospitality, as well as hands-on projects, decoration, and space organization.
We both have experience creating digital content for social media.
Together, we’re a complementary duo — creative, respectful, and adaptable. We can help with:
• Reception, cleaning and basic maintenance
• Photography, videos, and social media
• Support in cafés and plant-based cooking
• Decoration, design, and space organization
• Gardening and manual work
• Assistance with artistic or cultural projects
We value good communication, peaceful working environments, and genuine cultural exchange.
We’re always open to learning, sharing, and giving our best wherever we go.

Super pleasant to be around.
Connected with everyone immediately.
I think Cami arranged most of all lunch and dinner for everyone during the time they stayed with us.
Gui didn't give anyone the change to do any dishes. :)
We normally only do some work in the morning.
But they still repaired things, or cleaned up in the… read more

It was our very first Workaway experience, and we couldn’t have started in a better way. Kai is an incredible person, with a huge heart, who welcomed us with open arms from the very first moment. He picked us up in Lagos, took us to the market, showed us the local beaches and, above all, gave us a home.
