Hello workaway community! I am an artsy and outdoorsy traveler, originally from Oakland, California who wants to explore the world. I love doing just about anything creative- painting, drawing, making clothes, dancing, singing, cooking, crocheting, photography, etc (and would love to learn new creative skills from hosts/ fellow travelers). In past Workaway experiences, I have worked on farms, painted murals, helped with construction projects, and much more.
I'm excited to travel around cities and towns, and go for hikes and outdoor adventures as well . I love learning new things, and am interested in hearing about whatever you're excited about! I am open to helping with all kinds of work, but would be especially happy to work on any creative projects you need help with. I am very excited to make new friends from all over the world, sharing experiences and learning new things from each other.

I have experience with gardening/farming, cooking, hostel reception, cleaning, admin work, art handling, retail, visual arts (I studied painting in university), and teaching. I also have more informal experience with technology troubleshooting, general maintenance, basic wood shop skills, house painting, mural painting, taking care of pets, sewing, and writing/tutoring. I am proficient in English and speak intermediate Spanish.

Kira & Fanya are very nice women with lots of energy. They stayed with us for only 1 week, we would have liked to have had them at home more. They helped us with the creation of a stone labyrinth, with landscaping and creating a beautiful painting for the project.
We loved having them at home sharing music, bonfires, conversations and good vibes
