Description
This permaculture project is an organic farm that provides educational experiences in the permaculture methods. We produce coffee, honey, pollen, candles, and dehydrated fruits. You will be able to learn hands on about every step of the many processes conducted here on farm. The temperature and weather are always at a comfortable range here in Suaita. Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Here at the permaculture you will be able to interact closely with the many different fruit trees and medicinal plants we have on site, at their different growing stages, and help us process them. You will learn all you need about beekeeping. We hold a community beekeeping group weekly. And you will be able to observe the many different tasks that need to be done in order to keep a small organic farm going while having a positive impact in society by spreading permaculture.
Help
You will be working right along our side on all the different tasks that need to be done for that day. The tasks may vary from starting seeds, transplanting and field planting, making compost, pruning trees, harvesting coffee, harvesting honey and pollen, and harvesting fruit. However, if you have a skill with which you can contribute in any other way, its also welcomed.
