Hi there,

I’m Tennyson, from Seattle, Washington, I just turned 28, and my background is in hospitality and customer service.

I’m intentionally leaving my journey open-ended. I plan to spend winter in Spain starting early 2026, and afterwards, we'll see what happens. I am open to suggestions :-)

If you are closer to my home location than to W. Europe, I may have contacted you about a shorter arrangement. I would love to punch up my Workaway experience at your project in Western Canada, Mexico, California, or Oregon!

I am a lifelong student, and I think everything is best approached from a place of knowledge and understanding. I value hard work, literacy, integrity, temperance, discernment, and personal responsibility. I am anti-consumption (I never waste food, replace electronics infrequently, don't buy cheap Amazon.com garbage, save food from going to waste by using the Too Good To Go app, etc.)

My emphasis is on kindness, community, and culture/lifestyle exchange. The exchange of value that takes place will be tremendous :-)

When you hang out with me, you'll pick up a lot of vocabulary words that aren't terribly long, difficult to pronounce, or complicated to spell, they're just words that you don't hear as often. And that's what makes a strong vocabulary: using the most precise language. I'll try to speak in your language, too. Maybe you can teach me some cool slang that only people from your area know!

Favorite sports are longboarding and motorcycling!

My favorite book at the moment is Atomic Habits by James Clear. Currently reading Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand. Can you believe libraries are free?!
