Activities i am interested in:
I'm looking to help people out, experience colorful cultures, explore exotic, new horizons, and connect with others :-) Should I come to your country? Let me know.
My next destination:
Spain - from Jan 2026 until Apr 2026 View all
Description
Hi there,
I’m Tennyson, from Seattle, Washington, but lived all over the world in places like Hong Kong, Milan Italy, Paris, Beijing, and New York City.
I just turned 28, and I'm super handy! I can fix my own car, cook delicious food, help with yard work, perform residential repairs and maintenance, troubleshoot your tech for you, tutor your favorite students, care for your animals, or assist customers at your small business. My current project is outfitting my car for overlanding, to explore the Americas and continue doing more Workaways! My favorite cuisine to eat is Mexican, but my favorite dish to cook is steak seared in beef tallow.
To me, the most rewarding part of Workaway is seeing my labor benefit somebody who is essentially my neighbor. It feels good to create engagements where truly everyone is happy :-)
I plan to spend winter in Spain starting early 2026, and afterwards, we'll see what happens. If you are closer to my home location than to Spain, I may have contacted you about a shorter arrangement. I'd love to come help out at your project in Western Canada, Mexico, California, Washington, or Oregon!
I am a lifelong student, and I think everything is best approached from a place of knowledge and understanding. I value hard work, literacy, integrity, temperance, discernment, and personal responsibility. I am anti-consumption (I never waste food, replace electronics infrequently, don't buy cheap Amazon.com garbage, save food from going to waste by using the Too Good To Go app, etc.)
My emphasis is on kindness, community, and culture/lifestyle exchange. The exchange of value that takes place will be tremendous :-)

English: FluentMore details about my language interests
When you hang out with me, you'll pick up a lot of vocabulary words that aren't terribly long, difficult to pronounce, or complicated to spell, they're just words that you don't hear as often. And that's what makes a strong vocabulary: using the most precise language. I'll try to speak in your language, too. Maybe you can teach me some cool slang that only people from your area know! Fun fact. Did you know the origin of the word "algebra" lies in the Arabic "Al-Jabr"?
