    Description

Dear Workawayers, I have a house and a small piece of land on Little Corn Island (LCI), in the Caribbean of Nicaragua. My home & garden are beautiful and I am looking for motivated, creative and/ or manual people to come stay with me as I try to make it more beautiful and work better.

I recently started a business from my house and I'm teaching yoga sometimes twice a day plus offering massage, meditation, tea. So if you are on a spiritual path or have experience with alternative therapies then I would love to meet you too.

I have 30 metres of beach front too so there is a constant sea view and sounds of the sea. It's a quiet, tranquil spot with only a 10minute walk to the village. I also have a dog called Oso and Ms Sophie the cat so if your not into animals this isn't the place for you.

An exchange which would be adding beauty and joy to both you and I would be the ideal situation.

Coming to Little Corn is a chance to feel part of a real Caribbean community. The island is a Creole English speaking but Spanish is widely practiced too. The over development of many Caribbean islands hasn't happened here,as yet, and as there are only 1000 inhabitants it's easy to feel part of the community quickly. Its possible to learn Diving and kitesurfing, snorkelling and fishing trips are on offer and yoga classes almost daily. Paradise palm lined beaches, friendly smiley faces, great local cuisine are just to name a few reasons this place is so special.
Also I will give all my knowledge on the local flora and fauna that I have learnt in the last year's and will share recipes in the kitchen.

During your free time you can explore the island and as there are no cars or motorbikes anywhere here that will be on foot or you can borrow a bike from me. The beaches are wonderful and there are jungle trails too. There are a handful of bars and restaurants. You can find a beautiful plate of fish for $8 or lobster for $10. We have lots of friends that will pop round to the house too, I am social butterfly and like to sing and dance. I enjoy this place so much for it's relaxed pace so we wouldn't expect you to work all of the time, we want to be able to have a laugh, share the space and work together to make projects in the house come to life.
Getting to the island is an adventure in itself so if you need any advice let me know.
