I am looking for new adventures to fuel my passion for travel and discovery, as well as to satisfy my desire to work and help !
Description

Since September 24, I have been traveling through Europe to challenge myself and live a big adventure ! I did different kinds of Workaway experiences in Europe and moved through several countries during a year and a half.
Now, I am preparing my next adventure outside of Europe: Costa Rica! That’s why I am looking for a new Workaway to live this next chapter.

I am always trying to stay smiling and in a good mood ! Over the past few years, I’ve developed a love for work and also for adventure ! I am used to experiment workaway this last year and it was definitely the best idea of my life ! I want to continue to travel and to fulfill my want of adventure . I’m excited for all the experiences and the things I will discover !

I have been working in the restaurant industry since I was 17. I’ve had the opportunity to work in different restaurants like Italien restaurant, French one and even in Disneyland Paris, also a café, a bar, an ice cream shop, and a traditional bistro. I was used to be attentive to customers. Currently, I am working in a café in Denmark until April ! I have also worked as a babysitter, taking care of several children throughout the week, from school pickup to sometimes putting them to bed while waiting for their parents to return. I am always very motivated to work and I learn quickly!

I grew up in an artistic atmosphere with a lot of music, movies, theater and with a huge interest to discover many ways to express how you feel. I'm used to play piano and saxophone for a long time. I also love going to concerts ! I’m also a big fan of cinema ! Before the beginning of my travel I'm used to study "audiovisual" at University because I was fascinated by different audiovisual techniques and wanted to learn more about it . Recently, I started to paint, especially with watercolor. It’s very therapeutic for me to draw and paint in this way!

I spent three weeks at this place, and it was an incredible experience. It was my first time traveling with Workaway, and I have absolutely no regrets ! From my very first day, I felt warmly welcomed. Nadine and Philipp are truly the perfect host : kind, generous, and thoughtful. I arrived just before the harvest season ended, so I helped with the last preparations for winter. During the "frozen days," we also painted various signs to help organize the garden. I found it so interesting to learn about this lifestyle. We also took care of the rabbits and chickens ... During my last days, I helped to tidy up and also we renovated a bathroom for the guesthouse with Philipp. Nadine and Philipp have many exciting projects around the farm and the houses, and it was so interesting to get involved in them.

The guesthouse was a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. The bedrooms were cozy, and once again, it was great to learn how to light a fire to warm the house. It was like a fun challenge if you're not used to it. Nadine and Philipp always offer you a variety fresh vegetables and other food, so you have plenty options for cooking. Additionally, you can use work clothes to suit the weather and the different tasks.

The village is charming, and the neighbors are incredibly welcoming. There are small shops to explore, like the beer and wine store and the Bakery Muller. Around the village, you can walk through the forest or explore the nearby villages by bike or on foot. If you want to visit a larger town, Nadine and Philipp are always happy to pick you up from the nearby train station. This makes it easy to discover the region over the weekend. Personally, I was there during the Christmas season, so I had the chance to visit Christmas markets in Stuttgart, Freiburg, and Strasbourg! I would also recommend visiting Sigmaringen, with the beautiful castle.

Staying at Philipp and Nadine’s house is a wonderful experience because you're immersed in the beauty of the German countryside. They host several volunteers, so it’s a great opportunity to meet wonderful people ! I was very cool to meet Aurélianne and Alessandra. Besides, sharing meals with the family was a very kind moment, and the little girls are absolutely adorable !

In conclusion, this experience was incredibly refreshing, and I feel like I learned so much in this environment. As my first Workaway experience, I couldn’t be happier or more grateful for how everything turned out. It definitely inspired me to continue my journey with this kind of exchange and sharing. Thank you for the opportunity to immerse myself in this way of life !
