Description

Hi, this is Bulent here. id like to meet up with idealist, open minded, respectful, sharing, considerate, curious, compassionate, free spirited, creative, joyful people. So far, most of the people i have met thru WA (hosts and workawayers) were like this and this has given me great encouragement to continue my ventures with WA. My mantra is, I want to be the best version of myself. Similar to many hosts that are very particular in accepting workawayers, I am also selective who i will be volunteering for. Since I will be spending a month or so in a farm and working like its my own, I need sincere, honest, sharing and caring to work for.
Working and living in nature thrills me even in winter. i am usually full of energy and joy with an appetite to work hard. I think the way we do things reflects our character.
Being with friends, a community, or a social network and working for them makes my life meaningful. It has been little over 3 years since ı started volunteering, i did a bit of the following : harvesting, planting, composting, making veggy beds, repairing, carpentry, animal care (dogs, cats, cattle) , pruning trees, repairing stone walls, vegan cooking for people and lots of this and thats. I want to constantly learn new things and enjoy the challenging stuff.
In Japan, i had a great experience of making a tree house which i am really proud of ( fotos in my pictures). I also very recently finished a greenhouse from scrap materials as well as a 300m2 raised bed garden.
Running, table tennis, stretching, calisthenics, swimming are my favorite activities. normally when i am in turkey i travel with my car from one permaculture farm to another to stay in each farm at least a month.
So far i met lots of lovely people with whom i am still in touch and visit them from time to time. This workaway has been a real eye opener for me. its not a travelling but a life experience.

Cooking vegan food, bread baking, pizza, wine making and other various fermented food (olives, kombucha and pickled food ), olive harvesting, making raised vegetable beds, making sun dried tomatoes/pepper pastes,, planting trees, mulching, chopping wood with chain saw, using most hand tools like drill, angle grinder, circular saw, sander, etc
i have intermediate experience on, Welding, carpentry, simple household repairs.
