 - Description- We are an international couple living on an old farm in eastern Jutland in Denmark. We are surrounded by beautiful nature that is a tourist magnet and there are also a lot of cultural experiences available for our guests. Work consists of household and various construction and renovation projects.
 - Types of help and learning opportunities- DIY and building projects - Creating/ Cooking family meals - Help around the house - General Maintenance

 - Cultural exchange and learning opportunities- You will have a homebase for your trips into nature and visits to Danish cultural sites. We can teach you some Danish, English and German. You have access to our huge library of spiritual and medical books. You can learn gardening, farming and do-it-yourself skills. One of us is an opera expert :)
 - Help- Depending on when you arrive, there will be always some work to do on the house and on the property. It changes with the seasons. Right now we are about to install an underground rain water tank, repair the meadow after major digging for a new sewage tank, we have windows and doors to paint, there is cleaning needed in the house and farm buildings, hedge and lawn maintenance (weeds 😱) and firewood work. We always upgrade bird houses and such. Creative projects like building garden furniture and outdoor places could happen if the mood is right. A health aware cook who understands the keto diet would be a special plus 😊

 - Accommodation- There is a guest room with a double bed in the basement for colder days, and a camping caravan outside, which is very cozy in the warm season. You will share bathroom and kitchen with us. Our meal schedule is irregular due to work, so we can share only some meals with you and otherwise you help yourself.
We often do not eat at the usual times. At 18:30 it will be possible to share dinner on most days, otherwise you are welcome to feel at home in our kitchen and provide your own meals after we went shopping together. We are flexible 😊
 - What else ...- Our immediate environment is best for long walks in nature and mushroom hunting when the season is right, but we can often arrange to bring you to the train station of Ryomgaard about 4 kilometers away and then you are well connected with the train and bus network in Jutland. If you come with a (rental?) car, parking in our place is not a problem - then you can explore all of Denmark within a few hours. About 4 hours to the East there is also the famous bridge to Sweden across the Oeresund. A few hours to the Southwest from us is the border to Germany. A few hours to the West is the coast of the Atlantic ocean with some beautiful sand beaches. There are also beaches to the North, East and South of us.
