Description
Hello,
My name is Renata, aka blue. I am very happy to be a member of this community. I believe in a healthy and self-sufficient life style. I have been working on and off on small woodland farms for the last few years and enjoyed it very much.
I would like to expand my horizons and learn more about self sufficiency and construction.
Also, to experience life at wilderness camps, lodges, resorts and other nature friendly ventures. There is no better way to learn than hands on!
I have a basic knowledge of natural farming, as well as turkey and chicken raising. I have assisted in a log cabin construction, have helped getting wood for the winter, putting shakes on the roof, snow shovelling, stables clean out, housekeeping, laundry, grounds keeping, fencing, and all aspects of gardening. In some places, I cared for horses, sheep, lambs, goats as well as cats and dogs. Always happy to do something outside!
Thank you all the beautiful hosts for your lessons, awesome experiences and hospitality!
I am hoping to live on my own small farm one day, so I better learn what I need to know.
I am also looking for an opportunity to learn more about natural healing techniques and plants.
In addition, I am an avid photographer, travelling extensively here in Canada as well as internationally and often spend my evenings organizing my pictures or reading.
Looking ahead, I am interested in joining a small community/tribe to live with, work, laugh, contribute and be of service :) I also offer free energy healing, Reiki!
I certainly like to earn my keep and take pride in my work. I am strong, in great shape, easy going and like a good laugh.Interests

An awesome place to workaway, learn about wild foods, forage, and share. It was very busy at times, but the end morsel was worth all the work that has gone into it :)

She is so easy to have around, respectful, quiet, helpful and willing.
You will be blessed having her at your place.
This place is amazing with all the beauty and the silence I was looking for.
The cabin is very comfortable with everything you may need, even a skylight above your bed to watch the stars.
