  • Description

Hi there! We are two young professionals, looking for opportunities to expand and diversify our experiences in this world. Ari was raised in the Philippines until she was 13, where she relocated with her family to the United States in 2014. Turner was born and raised in the US. Both of us are currently living in the state of Idaho, and we are planning on traveling to various continents for several months to learn new skills, practice language (Spanish), and meet new people. We are very excited to work alongside friendly and genuine hosts to symbiotically grow together!

Ari (she/her) loves being outdoors, whether that’s cycling, hiking, snowboarding, or camping. She feels most like herself when she's moving, connecting with people, and spending time in nature. Creativity is also a big part of who she is. She has experience in customer service, marketing, social media, and photography. She leaves places and people better than she found them by showing up with a strong work ethic, positive energy, and a willingness to help wherever she's needed.

Turner (he/him) is motivated by curiosity about the world, and is on a continuous journey to improve himself physically, mentally, and culturally. Prior to traveling, his profession was working in research and development engineering in the semiconductor industry. After working a 9-5 desk job for several years, he is looking to break routine by finding new skills, new people and new places. His main hobbies are working on his vintage motorcycle, weekend camping trips to the mountains, and road/gravel cycling. He has aspirations to incorporate as much cycling and surfing as he can into his workaway experience to maintain a productive and healthy lifestyle.

Both of us look forward towards future experiences with hosts and leaving people better than we found them. Thank you for reading!
