    Description

Hi! I'm Nino, and I live in a beautiful house surrounded by nature in the hills of Olivella, close to Barcelona, Sitges, and the Mediterranean Sea. If you enjoy animals, gardening, peaceful surroundings, and being part of a friendly home, we'd love to welcome you.

Our home is shared with a lovely dog, a friendly cat, a flock of chickens (and a proud rooster!), and plenty of fish. We're slowly transforming the property into a Mediterranean garden full of fruit trees, vegetables, flowers, and wildlife. There are always exciting projects to get involved in, from gardening and looking after the animals to small DIY projects, painting, organizing, and helping improve the property.

In exchange for around 20 hours of help each week, we offer comfortable accommodation, food, Wi-Fi, and the chance to experience life in the Spanish countryside while still being close enough to explore Barcelona, Sitges, the beaches, and the beautiful Penedès wine region.

We're looking for someone who enjoys being active, is responsible, has a positive attitude, and likes both animals and nature. No expert skills are needed—just a willingness to help and enjoy the experience.

One thing that would really help us is if you have a valid driving licence and are comfortable driving. Living in the countryside means we regularly go into town for shopping, appointments, and errands, so it would be wonderful to have someone who enjoys getting out and about and doesn't mind joining these trips a few times each week.

More than anything, we're hoping to find someone who wants to become part of the household rather than simply exchange work for accommodation. We enjoy cooking together, chatting over dinner, sharing ideas, and learning about different cultures. If you're looking for a peaceful place surrounded by nature, animals, and good company, we'd be very happy to hear from you!

We can't wait to meet you and share our little corner of Spain.

I am half German/half Bulgarian, lived 9 years in London and am in Spain since 2021. My son has three passports and speak 4 languages...while I struggle with two languages English and German. I would really like to improve my Spanish skills and learn about another culture. Reach out and let's get to know each other.

    Thank you!

There is secure parking on the property, however, it is in full sun and I would not recommend it for the summer. You could however park the van outside and sleep in one of the rooms.
