  • Description

    Hi! My name is Anzu.
I’m 21 years old and I’m from Japan.
I’m currently a university student in Japan, where I study business and management. Right now, I’m spending a year in Denmark on a study abroad program, attending two different folk high schools (højskoler).

During my summer break between semesters, I’m hoping to join a Workaway project to experience something new, connect with people, and learn in a hands-on way.

I love meeting new people and having meaningful conversations—it’s one of my favorite things! I believe that sharing cultures and stories helps us all grow.

I speak Japanese, English, and some Korean, and I’m always open to learning more. I’m excited to help, learn, and be part of a new environment.

Looking forward to meeting you! :)

  • More details about your skills

I’m fluent in Japanese and English, and I also speak some Korean.
I have a strong interest in culture and communication, and I love sharing about traditional Japanese culture. I’ve learned calligraphy (shodo), how to wear and care for kimono, the use of the soroban (Japanese abacus), and how to cook Japanese food. I’d be happy to share these traditions with others!

One of my biggest strengths is connecting with people. I really enjoy meeting new people and I’m good at making others feel comfortable.

In university, I studied organizational theory and the concept of “creating spaces” that foster open, collaborative environments—something I try to bring into every group or community I join.
