I am 22 years old, I am from Copenhagen Denmark, and I will be traveling to certain countries in Africa during May, June and July.

From May 2024 to April 2025 I travelled alone around South America for those 11 months. During these travels, I used Workaway on several occasions, and I really had some amazing experiences as a volunteer, and I met fantastic people; the other volunteers as well as the hosts. It was (and still is) the most rewarding thing I have done for myself, and now I want to go out and see new places of the world again. I travel to learn - about the world and about myself. I have always been keen to gain new knowledge, and so, when I travel, I travel to see what new places and the people can teach me.

I believe that teaching and learning is best done with strong relations between people, and I value and prioritize the building of relationships, which is why I am always interested in getting to know new people - especially when they are different from myself.

I am a curious person who likes to really dive deep into my interests and it motivates me to spend a lot of time on one subject. In my free time I usually read a lot, listen to a lot of music and play the guitar. Also, since I was 5 years old I have been playing a sport called floorball, which is still a big part of my life.

I am patient and flexible, I have gentle mind, and I rarely lose my temper. I am easy to be around and with and I am easy to communicate with. Currently, I am working as a substitute teacher in a school in Copenhagen which is a very rewarding job, and I have also been a floorball coach for kids. In both jobs I have really appreciated how easy it is to see the positive influence of one's work and the relations I made with the kids. This is something that I would also like to try and do as a traveling volunteer, so I hope to find places where that is possible.

More details about my language interests
I speak Danish and English fluently, and I am very interested in sharing knowledge of these two languages. Although my Spanish level is quite high, I don't speak it quite as well as English or Danish and I am therefore very interested in practicing and maintaining it. My Portuguese is very basic, and I would love to improve it.

I have experience in working with kids, and I have a lot of experience as service worker. I have done sports all my life, so I am in good physical condition.
I am in general good with words and at communication and relations - and I am easy to collaborate and cooperate with.
I have limited musical skills (I play the guitar) but am always willing to share musical experiences with other people.
