  Welcome to our hostel, a charming home located in the heart of our community in La Candelaria, Bogotá. We are looking for passionate and committed people who want to be part of something special.
  
  We are more than just a place to stay; we are a space that values human connection, teamwork, and positive impact. Every day here is an opportunity to learn and share—whether by helping at reception, supporting the cleaning team, or contributing to creating unique experiences for our guests.
  
  In addition, we are also interested in hosting a volunteer with an affinity for childcare, who can help us for a few hours a day with our 3-year-old child, through play, creative activities, and everyday interaction—ideally encouraging language learning in a natural and fun way. We are not looking for a formal nanny, but rather a responsible, caring person who enjoys sharing their culture and language.

  Bienvenidos a nuestro hostal, un hogar encantador ubicado en el corazón de nuestra comunidad en La Candelaria, Bogotá. Estamos buscando personas apasionadas y comprometidas que quieran formar parte de algo especial.
  
  Somos más que una casa de hospedaje; somos un espacio que valora la conexión humana, el trabajo en equipo y el impacto positivo. Aquí, cada día es una oportunidad para aprender y compartir, ya sea ayudando en la recepción, apoyando al equipo de limpieza o contribuyendo a crear experiencias únicas para nuestros huéspedes.
  
  Además, también estamos interesados en recibir a un/a voluntario/a con afinidad por el cuidado infantil, que nos ayude algunas horas al día con nuestro niño de 3 años, a través del juego, actividades creativas y la convivencia diaria, idealmente fomentando el aprendizaje de idiomas de manera natural y divertida. No buscamos una niñera formal, sino alguien responsable, cariñoso/a y con ganas de compartir su cultura y lengua.

By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to interact with people from various parts of the world, both guests and other volunteers. This creates a dynamic and enriching environment, where you can share your culture and learn about others, exchanging ideas, customs and traditions.
  
  In addition, we are located in a vibrant community full of history and local culture, which will allow you to immerse yourself in the daily life of the region, from gastronomy to traditional festivities. We also organize activities for volunteers to explore the surroundings, such as visits to local markets, hiking trails and social events with the community. It is a unique opportunity to broaden your perspective and create meaningful connections!

  El intercambio cultural es una parte fundamental de la experiencia. Al unirte a nuestro equipo, tendrás la oportunidad de interactuar con personas de diversas partes del mundo, tanto huéspedes como otros voluntarios.   Help

  We are looking for proactive and willing volunteers to help us in different key areas. We mainly need support at the reception desk to greet our guests with a warm welcome, as well as to manage check-ins, check-outs and answer queries. We are looking for responsible, detail-oriented people who enjoy teamwork, with the aim of making the hostel a welcoming and organized space.
  If you are interested in the childcare volunteering, the help mainly consists of playing, talking, and doing simple activities, ideally in another language to encourage natural learning.

  Buscamos voluntarios proactivos y con buena disposición para ayudarnos en diferentes áreas clave. Principalmente, necesitamos apoyo en la recepción para recibir a nuestros huéspedes con una cálida bienvenida, así como para gestionar check-ins, check-outs y resolver consultas. Buscamos personas responsables, detallistas y que disfruten del trabajo en equipo, con el objetivo de hacer del hostal un espacio acogedor y organizado.
  
  Si te interesa el voluntariado de cuidado de mi hijo, la ayuda consiste principalmente en jugar, conversar y realizar actividades sencillas, idealmente en otro idioma para fomentar el aprendizaje de forma natural.

  Accommodation

  As a volunteer, we offer you accommodation in a shared room, equipped with comfortable bunk beds. This space is ideal for fostering coexistence and exchange between volunteers, creating a friendly and companionate atmosphere. The room has everything you need to rest well after a day of activities, as well as access to and use of the laundry and enjoyment of the common areas of the house, such as the kitchen, living room and patio. It is an excellent opportunity to share experiences, get to know each other better and create new friendships while enjoying a comfortable stay.

  Como voluntario, te ofrecemos alojamiento en una habitación compartida, equipada con cómodas literas. Este espacio es ideal para fomentar la convivencia y el intercambio entre voluntarios, creando un ambiente amigable y de compañerismo. La habitación cuenta con lo necesario para que descanses bien después de un día de actividades, además de acceso y uso de lavandería y disfrutar de las áreas comunes de la casa, como la cocina, el salón y el patio. Es una excelente oportunidad para compartir experiencias, conocerse mejor y crear nuevas amistades mientras disfrutas de una estadía cómoda.
