Description
We are a third generation homestead in the midst of a rejuvination. Our main focus right now is on four original homesteads of the area. All are located on a three quarter mile strech of road. I love what i do so much it's hard to think of as work but after the long winter we like to enjoy the summer so besides the usual homestead stuff many projects are just for the fun of it or improvment of community spaces and living areas. We also support you taking on these types or other side projects. At this stage you can leave a long lasting personal mark on our evolution.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
I think people will enjoy our towns Alaskan hospitality. I find Alaska's long summer days amazing. They give us a freedom not experianced at lower latitudes and alow us to take full advantage of the season. You could learn a variety of skills aquired by three generations of alaskan homesteading.

Help
We have a lot going on right now. So, I am confident we have a project to pique anyone's interest. We will be doing lots of gardening, replanting old fields, fencing old pasture, taking care of the animals, every kind of construction project, foraging and preserving food, expanding the orchard, getting ready for live music and many other things too numerous to list.
Some projects that i think will be fun:
Build horseshoe bar under the flying bus off the front of comunal kitchen
Build sauna
Upgrade stage
Upgrade kitchen/rec building
Build wood fired oven
Convert boat into cabin
Convert School bus into cabin
Build log cabin

Accommodation
We have a variety of options for you to stay: from right in the midle of the action to, private and secluded. You can also create or help develop houseing options. There is a communal kitchen/rec structure, but all locations have their own kitchen. We will do our best to provide you with the foods you enjoy. Communal meals are common, but feel free to do your own thing. We love music! So, we try to wire everywhere for sound along with having live music on our stage every chance we can. We set up an original homestead cabin as a pool hall decorated with old Alaskan bar memorabilia. Large common fire area but private ones as well. Gardens are for eating help yourself. Shower and laundry facilities. Bouldering wall
