Description
Open-minded musician and teacher eager to learn, gain new experiences and not afraid of getting our hands dirty.
We’re a European couple in our 30s, Tony (Luxembourgish/Italian) and Nadja (Danish/Norwegian), currently travelling long-term and exploring different parts of the world together.
Over the past half year, we’ve been backpacking through South America, where we’ve taken part in a range of volunteer experiences, including working on a farm in Brazil, helping at an international school in Argentina, and assisting with the wine harvest at a small winery in Chile.
We’re now in Central Asia this summer and are excited to find new Workaway opportunities where we can contribute, learn, and connect with local communities.
We enjoy physical outdoor work, helping with daily tasks, and becoming part of a team where you can share your culture. We’re happy helping with:
- Gardening, planting, harvesting, and general outdoor work
- Cleaning, organizing, and maintaining shared spaces
- Supporting family, school, or community projects
Tony has worked at a music school in Luxembourg for seven years and is used to structured routines, teamwork, and responsibility. He is also a musician and has played drums in several bands. Nadja has a background in teaching and volunteering internationally, including teaching English in Luxembourg last year and in Beijing for five years. She also has volunteering experience in schools and community projects in Togo, India, and Copenhagen.
In everyday life, we enjoy hiking, swimming, specialty coffee, cinema, and listening to music - especially from the 80s. We are not big party people, but love to try local beer.
We’re down to earth, reliable, and comfortable working independently once tasks are explained. We’re happy with simple living, open communication, and clear expectations.
We’re flexible with dates, open to short or longer stays, and genuinely interested in contributing in a meaningful way and learning something new along the way.
