    Description

This is a community, just outside of Leeuwarden, where several people are living together in tiny houses. We experiment with offgrid living, sustainability and permaculture. We want to show that things can be done differently: slowing down, connect with and learn from nature around us and build a safe community based on reciprocity and equity.

Together with an enthusiastic group of volunteers we maintain the land: an old farmyard, which has been designed as a green, edible landscape. We can always use more help! We also encourage you to share your own ideas and skills! This is a place where you can try out, learn and flourish.

This place is a project of a (non-profit). To get a better idea/feeling of what we do and who we are, visit our website or follow us on Instagram - ask us for the links

    Help

All help is welcome! We want to make this place a flourishing community where people feel welcome, can connect with nature/other people, get inspired, etc. We are always working on projects on the land or one of the buildings.

This year we want to take on several projects: expanding the vegetable garden, building a chicken coop, making an outside activity platform and make cosy little areas on the land for people to relax and enjoy in nature. We also encourage you to share your own ideas and skills! This is a place where you can try out, learn and flourish.

There is also a small cabin on the property (for one person or a couple). If you want to opt for this, let us know when you want to come and we can see what we can arrange.

The best option would be to bring your own " tiny house". Since that is the way of living around here. Think of a campervan or tent, or be creative :).

It is good to know that we live almost fully offgrid here. We are not connected to the electricity, gas and sewage facilities. There is a communal building with a drinking water connection, dry/composting toilets and a shower.

You could also go into the city (we live close by) and spend some time in one of the many nice cafes or the library.
