Description
This is a sanctuary for Cows and Pigs, a small farm, nestled into a hilly patch of jungle 5km back from the Caribbean Sea. Its a place of peace and solace. An opportunity for people to get up close and personal with farm animals and their sentient nature.
We offer tours to the public by appointment. Participants get to visit the property, walk through a beautiful rainforest trail and end up in our stable where they are able to groom, feed, and cuddle with our animals.
With only 3 Cows and 2 Pigs, and 4 dogs, our tours are small, sincere and personal. -

The is plenty of opportunity within the community to interact with the local culture and language. Languages spoken on this coast are mainly Spanish, Bribri and some Patois.

Help required in animal care, Feeding, Grooming, Watering, Stable Mucking, Light gardening and property maintenance, Dog Walking, occasional house sitting. Maintenance of volunteer glamping area.
For those with the right qualifications, there may be opportunities for tour hosting.

15 lb mini poodle. Red -Brown and a professional cuddler. 6 years old.

4 year old beach rescue. Loving and beautiful member of our family. 35lbs. 4 years old. Likely has some fox hound genes.

4 year old , chocolate brown standard poodle. 65lbs of pure cuddling, easy going, love.

First of all, the location, Punta Uva. It's such an amazing place! Calm, quiet, lots of nature, beautiful almost empty beaches. Only about 25 min with bike to Puerto Viejo if you want restaurants and party.
