    Description

    Dear workawayer,
thank you for taking some time to read our profile!
After two "gap year'', we're ready to host again ^_^
    THAT'S OUR FAMILY
We're a young and easygoing family :) I'm Clotilde, you can call me Clo, my husband is Jacopo, and the two sis are Anita (15y in August2026) and Olivia (13y in November2026).
With us also a cats (Agata) and a dog (Siria). They stay also inside the house, so it's important you love animals and you're NOT allergic. There are also Clapton & Mina, two little guinea pigs living in their fence and Sophie, a gecko, living in her terrarium.
Please note, Siria is a bit shy at the beginning, she’ll bark you the first day, but then she'll be quite and so sweet with you too!
    WHERE WE ARE
We are based in the north of Italy, Piedmont, in the center of Asti, just few meters from the Cathedral. The house is very big, and, although we live in the center of the town, we can enjoy a nice and peaceful garden.
Our town is well connected by train/bus to others nice cities like Alba, Turin, Milan, Genova and the 5 terre....
    ABOUT US
    -Meals:
Normally we have breakfast all together around 7,15am, lunch around 1,30/2:00pm and dinner around 8:00pm. But when girls are off from school we haven’t fixed time for meals.
We don’t have special food habits, we like ALL the food, also from others countries.
We have a typical Italian sweet breakfast, with caffè or cappuccino, biscuits or croissants. At lunch we often have pasta, rice, gnocchi or agnolotti, while at dinner meat, eggs, fish, cheese, vegetables, and once a week pizza!
We don’t smoke and we don’t drink alcohol, a part beer and wine sometimes.
    -GIRLS DAILY ROUTINE:
Anita is in her first year of high school and Olivia go to secondary school. Them both go to school from Monday to Friday, from 8am to 1.30pm, and Olly stays at school until 4pm on Monday and Thursday. (They’re home from school for summer holiday from middle June to the middle September, and a couple of weeks during Christmas and Easter festivities).
Anita do Kung Fu three times a week (on Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoon, 18:00-20:00) and Olly do athletics 3 times a week(on Monday,Tuesday, Thursday afternoon), from September to July.
    -OUR JOB:
I run a b&b for 5 years, but I've close it in January 2023, and now I'm working in the municipal office. I work half day 3 times a week and all the day on Tuesday and Thursday.
My husband has a business in photography and more precisely in the production of ceramic pictures(through a special process, you can apply photographs printed on paper on ceramic plaques to cook them in a special oven).

-You can stay in the historic center of Asti, a quite small town, ideal located to explore the surrounding, villages in countryside and Piedmont in general (Our hills are UNESCO Heritage and Lonely Planet guide 'best region to visit' choose Piedmont last year !).
It's also easy with train go to big cities as Turin / Milan and the lakes /Genova and Cinque Terre..here you can taste several typical food and drink good wines known and appreciate all over the world

-You can learn more about Italian culture and our language too, with us, listening and speaking it at home.

-If you want, you can come with us when we plan daily trip to the countryside, or at the sea. We Sometimes we like to do it during the weekend.

....and I hope you can enjoy your time with us, having fun and learning something useful for you in the future !
