Canada - from Jun 2026 until Oct 2026 View allDescription
Hi there,
My name is Tine, I’m 24 years old and originally from Belgium. I recently moved to Sweden (after 3 different workaway experiences in Sweden ) to follow my Scandinavian passion and become an outdoor guide for a family run guesthouse. Since winter is the high season for me, the summer/fall gives me the perfect chance to travel – and in 2026, I would love to explore Canada, our Canadian guests say it looks like Sweden!
I’ve been riding horses since I was 6 years old, and throughout the years I’ve also gained a lot of experience with different animals – from dogs and cats to pigs and donkeys. I truly enjoy being part of the rhythm of animal care, and I’m never afraid to get my hands dirty to do what’s best for them.
Besides my love for animals, I hold two degrees in social work and have completed over 1000 hours of internships with various social organisations. I also have experience in hospitality and enjoy helping out wherever it’s needed, what I don't know yet I would love to learn.
I would describe myself as patient, hardworking, and eager to learn. I enjoy living close to nature, meeting new people, and embracing different cultures. In my free time, you’ll often find me taking photos, reading or exploring the outdoors.
Languages are another strength: my English is fluent (C2 level), I speak Dutch as my native language, and I understand French quite well, most recently I have started to take on Swedish!
I would be thrilled to join a host in Canada where I can spend time with horses or on a ranch, help with daily tasks, and learn more about life surrounded by nature. Please don’t hesitate to reach out – I’d be happy to share more and answer any questions!
Hope to hear from you soon!Interests

Horseriding:
I've been riding since I was about 6 years old, I love a horse thats easy going, but I'm up for a challenge as well. I now mostly ride competition horses (ages between 4-15), and I am used to riding English.
I have ridden Western before at a workaway and multiple summer camps but am still learning.
I also like guiding, like to learn about areas and explain in different languages.
I also like anything lay-out and picture related, making posts, forming flyers,....Age

What else ...
I love photography, there's something about capturing a sunrise, a smile, a moment that's just magical. It's amazing to have a visual to go along with beautifull memories.
