Description
I am a hands-on visual artist—truly handy—with a strong background in both fine art and practical making. I enjoy working with my hands and mind together and like being involved in the full creative process, where aesthetics, materials, and problem-solving come together. I adapt easily, learn tools quickly, and work thoughtfully with strong attention to safety.
I am nomadic at heart and value honest, dedicated work wherever I am. Over the past few years, I have lived and worked in retreat centers and alternative communities along the U.S. East Coast, in Hawaii, and in parts of Latin America. These experiences have made me highly adaptable, naturally multitasking, and comfortable taking on a variety of roles in different environments.
I have a formal visual art education and early training in sculpture, including stone and wood carving during my childhood art school years. In recent years, I have stepped away from a conventional “big art career” path to focus on land art and material-based practices. My most recent major project took place in the forests of Western Massachusetts and involved rock etching and site-specific installations.
I am a helpful, creative, and reliable person. While my main passion is making art, I am open to many kinds of work, as long as the environment is safe, respectful, and collaborative. I am responsive, friendly, and happy to support others, contribute ideas, or join conversations when needed.
I am an introverted-extrovert: I work sincerely and quietly at times, sometimes with minimal verbal communication or eye contact—this is simply my nature. I am respectful of personal boundaries and attentive to the emotional atmosphere around me, and I value calm, focus, and mutual respect in both creative and working environments.
In my free time, I continue to create art by hand. I identify as a multimedia artist specializing in hand-crafted and material-based practices. Painting is my primary medium, supported by sculpture, carving, and mixed media work
