Just an hour south of Perth, Mandurah is a vibrant city noted for its waterways and holiday atmosphere. The city is set around the beautiful waters of Mandjar Bay.
At night people like to hang out at the waterfront to enjoy a barbeque or dine at the many cafes. During the day the foreshore comes alive with walkers, picnickers, paddlers, people fishing and crabbing and children at play.
Boats and charter cruises head out from the city to view friendly dolphin schools, pelican and other bird breeding sanctuaries, the best crabbing spots, or simply the wide calm expanses of Peel Inlet and Harvey Estuary and beyond, to the Indian Ocean. Houseboats are available for hire on the estuary or to enjoy the Murray River.
Mandurah's southern boundary is Yalgorup National Park where Lake Clifton contains a colony of living wonder fossils known as thrombolites. A walkway across the lakes' shallows allows close-up viewing.Help
A little general household support and an extra hand with walking our dog family as we have 3 very friendly cross breed staffies.

The list of reasons to head south continues to grow as new attractions and experiences emerge throughout this stunning region. If you're after adventure, there are many options for actively exploring WA's south, including the Bibbulmun and Cape to Cape walk tracks. There are world-class mountain bike trails and beautiful lakes and rivers for kayaking. At Dunsborough, Busselton, Augusta and Albany you can go whale watching, or get up close to orcas on a cruise around the Bremer Bay Canyon.
