Description
Hi there! My name is Talia, I am a 26 year old aspiring (and actualizing) world traveler. I love to be on the move; meeting new people and learning from them brings me great joy. I fill my days with meditation, time in nature, cooking nutritious food, reading, and if the weather allows it a dip in the nearest body of water! I would love to learn more about planting, growing, and harvesting as well as further my knowledge of the great outdoors. I most recently completed a 2 day backpacking trip on the coast of Cinque Terre and am searching for more opportunities to strengthen my backpacking skills.
For a bit of background, I was born and raised in sunny California and attended university down in San Diego. I have also lived in London (2018-2019), Oregon (2020-2022), and Florence (2023-2024). I most recently attended an artisan school for ceramics and would love to get my hands on some clay during my travels. I have two older sisters and two young nieces who I enjoy visiting in between my travels. Family is very important to me and I love to expand my chosen family as I travel!

-I am lovingly called Bob the builder by my friends since I always seem to be fixing things around the house. From loose screws to blocked washing machine filters, I love to problem solve and figure out how to fix things I may not have otherwise known how to.
-I am a skilled cook and baker, most recently perfecting bagels!

Fun Facts!
-When I was a kid my dad would gift CDs from a different decade or genre each year to me and my sisters in a grab bag style. Some of my favorites were Stevie Wonder, The B-52's, Donna Summer, Journey, and the Cranberries
-I love classic murder mysteries. Wonderful memories watching Agatha Christie's Miss Marple with my Grandma
-If I got in trouble as a kid my parents would take away my books as punishment (back in the days before ipads!)
-I left my traditional career path to pursue ceramic art almost 2 years ago
-I have a chocolate lava cake with one scoop of vanilla ice cream every year for my birthday
-I lifeguarded at my childhood camp, no better way to spend a summer than swimming around!
