My main motivation to be a workawayer is to return to living a simple life, enjoy the simple pleasure of nature and being around open minded, good natured people where I can learn new skills and make connections. Volunteering has now become a way of life for me, as I find it such an enriching experience and way to exchange with other humans. I am 9 months into this journey and am grateful for each volunteering experience I get to be a part of.
I am a very easy person to get along with, I would consider myself a ‘people person’. I light up when I’m around other positive people, enjoy sharing my humour and I’m always interested in learning other peoples perspectives on life. I love to exchange stories and recommendations with a variety of people from all types of cultures/countries/backgrounds.
I’m a spiritual soul and make it a priority to invest in at least one self reflective practice each day, whether this be breathwork, meditation, intuitive movement/stretch, dance or divination. These practices are important to me and I will be seeking out workaways that allow me to incorporate this into my daily routine. I am open to learning from others who value the same things.
I am an experienced tarot reader, having used this practice for over 10 years I now offer my tarot reading services full time, in person and online and love to share this with people I meet as it is often an extremely connecting and enlightening experience for both of us.
I would also like to continue to develop my skills as a breathwork and meditation guide and and enjoy guiding others in a group or 1-1 setting.
Other than that I’m always willing to put the effort in and turn my hand to anything that may need doing. I have a lot of respect and admiration for someone who is willing to open up their home to volunteers and I will be very grateful for anything I can learn and contribute to on their journey/personal project.Interests

I’m a qualified Breathwork Instructor, I have guided many group sessions and also had individual 1-1 clients. Breathwork, slow somatic movement and meditation is a class I offer if the opportunity arrives for me to do so.
I also offer 1-1 Guided intuitive tarot readings in person and online, this is a part of my work that I do alongside travelling and volunteering but can also be extended to people that I stay with or meet along the way.
I’m creative and have good attention to detail so can help with any creative or decorative painting.
I enjoy cooking and making things from scratch, always open to learn more about cooking and working with a wide variety of fruit and vegetable especially making things from scratch like fresh jams, sauces etc
I LOVE animals, especially dogs and horses but any kind of animal makes me happy and feel at peace. Having a strong sense of intuition I always connect well with animals and have grown up with animals. I would love to dog sit/dog walk or help with looking after animals of any kind
I love being outdoors, in nature so helping with gardening or tidying up plant areas/landscapes if perfectly fine with me!
In my past life (life before becoming a full time volunteer and van nomad) I was a barista in a local cafe for 18 months so I have a good level of barista/coffee skills. I was a supervisor so practical skills with rotas/responsibilities and managing a team of people comes easily to me.
I enjoy cleaning and would consider myself quite an organised and clean person, I would say my standard of cleaning would be quite high. I would open and close the cafe which covers a lot of cleaning, tidying up, putting things away and general tidiness and maintenance of the cafe to a high standard.
The most important skill I gained from working in a cafe is 'people skills'. I love chatting to new people, asking them about themselves and just improving their day with a cup of coffee and a smile, I have an upbeat attitude and get along well with people I’ve only just met. My communication skills definitely improved during this time dramatically.
From experience, I know workaways usually contain some kind of physical work and I’m happy to say I can also get involved with this too, I may not be the strongest but I am willing to put in the hours and learn.
The last thing I want to share is my experience in video editing and content creation. I am no marketing professional but I have been running my own content for my holistic/wellness page and business for the past two years so have some skills I'm sure I could share with you if this is something you need.Age

What else ...
I’m taking this time now to get back in touch with the things I love the most, nature, travel, connecting with people as a way to come back to myself and live a simple life in line with my daily practices. I'm looking forward to being around wonderful like minded people! Sending love and warm wishes ✨
