Description

Hey there!
We’re Rowena and René, a fun-loving and outgoing couple from Germany currently traveling through Southeast Asia on a six-month journey.

We both decided to take a break from the fast pace of everyday life to explore this beautiful part of the world while also giving something meaningful back to the region and its people. During our studies, we gained international experience by living and working in countries such as Chile, the USA, and Finland. In 2021, we also spent four months traveling through Central America, where we completed two wonderful Workaway stays in Honduras and Panama.

We’re easy-going, open-minded, and respectful people who get along well with others. We love being active and enjoy all kinds of outdoor sports—especially hiking and water activities like kayaking or sailing.

René works as an engineer and is experienced with mechanical and hands-on tasks, while Rowena has a background in marketing and social media. We’re also happy to help with cooking, gardening, and creative projects.

We both speak German and English fluently and are currently improving our Spanish, which is already good enough for everyday communication. We’re always excited to learn new languages and immerse ourselves in different cultures.
