Description
Hi! We’re Sascha and Alix. We recently decided to pause our routine in the Netherlands to see what else life has to offer.
For Sascha, this meant taking a break from her work as a nurse, leaving her home country, and focusing on completing the final year of her psychology studies.
For Alix, it meant stepping away from her job at an NGO and exploring new ways of contributing meaningfully.
Since July, we’ve been traveling together in our self-built van, seeking to discovering new ways of living, learning, and connecting.
We’re both curious, motivated, and love meeting people — whether through deep conversations or light, witty chats. Getting to know different ways of life and exchanging stories is one of the things we enjoy most.
We are ready to roll up our sleeves and build or prepare something. We love DIY projects (woodworking in particular), we like being challenged, and would be happy if we could contribute to your vision while learning from each other.

Sascha loves writing, Alix loves talking. We both are good listeners.
Alix started her studies with psychology while Sascha is ending her studies with psychology.
We are both spontaneous and we can be chaotic at times.
We trained our DIY muscle while building our van and we would love to gain more experience and would love to create something new with something old. We are eager to learn and learn quite fast. While Alix has a more detailed oriented mind (very handy when thinking before doing is required), Sascha has a more experimental way of working (not shy to discover the unknown) and together we make sense, at least, most of the time ;)
Alix creates the best meals with random leftovers and speaks many languages. Sascha provides spectacular shower concerts and is exactly the one you want to have around when you need a nurse, an entertainer, or just good company.

What we liked most about the work was the change of scenery as Ante took us to different places to harvest on the island.
