Description
We are non profit organization from island Ugljan in Croatia. We work many agricultural jobs in the island such as cutting and harvesting olives. The olive oil is made in traditional way that started in the time of Romans. There is a Roman mill on the island that is completely reconstructed to show the people how making of oil was done 2000 years ago.
We also work with other plants such as figs, peaches, lemons, madarines and so on. And also we tako care of the nature by cleaning the trash leftovers and protecting the animals from the hunters. And we make gastro and music events so that people on the island can enjoy together in the nature, music and amazing food.
We would really appreciate the help and in exchange we will provide housing and food and an amazing experience.

Accommodation
2 bedroom appartement with kitchen, living room and terrase with view.
We provide cooked meals or we do barbeque in the barbeque area next to the appartements. Or we do barbeque in the farm. There is always fresh fish and meat on the menu and we also do vegetarian meals.
What else ...
In their free time helpers can explore the island. Ugljan is the most green island in Croatia so there is lots of nature to be seen. Also there are many beautiful beaches, both rocky and sandy ones. There are local buses going back and forth and also I am always available for giving a ride anywhere.
And amongst all the attractions on the island St.Michaels fortress is one of the best. It is on the top of the island so there is 360 view on the mainland and many islands behing Ugljan.

He was very polite and nice. Also great worker. We had very good communication and the energy with rest of the group was amazing. Definitely want to host him again and do more pojects with him and hang out with him.
We enjoyed our time on the island and laughed a lot with the group.
What we liked most about the work was the change of scenery as Ante took us to different places to harvest on the island.
Ante has ambitious plans for the future and we wish him all the best making them come true :)

About the work:
Picking olives was interesting and meditating.
Cleaning and processing the olives was easy work.
Cutting the water suckers was oddly satisfying.

They helped me a lot with harvesting olive fruits, cutting olive trees, cutting pine trees and choping tham....
They are very skilfull and their english is very good.
Also they were very nice and polite guests, followed all house rules and also we had fun time after work....

I gave them whole appartement for themselves... they left it very clean. They helped me a lot with work around the house and in olive tree farm.
