  • Description

    Hi!

My Fiancée Jordan and I are coming to Japan for 2 months to explore the local area and learn more about Japanese culture.

We have spent the last 2 years working in Canada and are originally from the UK.

We spent some time in Canada doing some work on several hobby farms with Workaway and really valued meeting new people, being taught new skills and experiencing local life.

In the UK, I was a teacher and a waitress on weekends, Jordan worked as a chef. We are both from the South West of England and met each other 7 years ago whilst travelling in Central America.

We are an enthusiastic and outgoing couple who enjoy meeting new people and experiencing new things. We are not afraid to work hard or get dirty and are eager to learn new skills.
We love animals and the outdoors and enjoy spending our spare time in nature, hiking, camping and swimming.

    Skills we can offer:
    - we are both very hard working and keen to take on new challenges.
    - We both love working with new people and work well within teams.
    - We both have experience in hospitality as we have both worked in restaurants and cafes, we have also both helped in a hostel and have experience managing check ins/outs, touring round guests and housekeeping duties.
    - We both have experience working on farms, caring for the animals (mainly sheep, chickens, dogs, cats, rabbits), completing DIY and various farm jobs and looking after vegetables and plants.
    - Jordan is physically strong and is used to completing manual labour jobs after working as a construction worker in Australia. He is a fast learner and a great communicator.
    - I have also previously done some construction work whilst building a school in Uganda and enjoyed learning new skills, like how to traditionally plaster a wall.
