Moi c'est Romain. Je suis actuellement au Canada pour un voyage de deux ans, pour m'immerger dans la culture, rencontrer des nouvelles personnes et développer mes compétences et apprendre à me connaitre moi-même.
J'ai commencé mon expérience de Workawayer avec ce voyage au Canada et est eu la chance de participer à de nombreuses expériences différentes.
- J'ai développé des compétences dans la maintenance générale (entretien des espaces verts, constructions, installations et réparations de bâtiments temporaires et/ou définitifs (abri bulle, tente, mobile home, maison), nettoyage...) et la relation clientèle (accueil, conseils et animations) lors de plusieurs séjours dans un centre de villégiature, le domaine Pourki. Merci Théo pour ton accueil, ta sympathie et ta confiance accordée.
- J'ai eu la chance de participer à deux projets de construction et de rénovation de décors chez un ébéniste de talent, des structures en bois de type maison de hobbit et taverne médiévale. J'ai appris énormément de chose sur la construction en bois. Merci à Luc et sa famille pour leur accueil et leur confiance.
- J'ai réalisé une saison complète en tant que handler dans un chenil de chien de traineau, dans lequel mes missions allaient de l'entrainement des chiens, l'accueil des clients, la construction et réparation des traineaux à la sortie de plusieurs jours en expédition avec montage de tente, installation de poêle à bois et toute activité pour la survie dans les bois. Merci à toute l'équipe pour cette expérience hors normes.
J'ai renouvelé l'expérience pour deux mois dans un autre chenil au Yukon pour avoir une autre vision de cette expérience. Merci à Pierre-Luc pour son accueil et son apprentissage.
- J'ai pu également apprendre les bases du potager, l'art de couper les arbres en forêt, et différentes compétences fort intéressantes dans d'autres Workaway plus courts mais tout aussi immersif.
Je suis intéressé par toutes nouvelles expériences, j'apprends vite, ai des facilités dans les activités manuelles, le maniement d'outillage divers, sais prendre initiatives et n'hésite pas à poser des questions si je n'ai pas les connaissances pour réaliser une tâche qu'on me confie.

Hi !
I am Roman. I am currently in Canada for a two year trip, to immerse myself in the culture, meet new people and develop my skills and get to know myself.
I started my Workawayer experience with this trip to Canada and had the chance to participate in many different experiences.
- I developed skills in general maintenance (maintenance of green spaces, constructions, installations and repairs of temporary and/or permanent buildings (bubble shelter, tent, mobile home, house), cleaning...) and customer relations (reception, advice and entertainment) during several stays in a resort, the Pourki estate. Thank you Theo for your welcome, your sympathy and your trust.
- I had the chance to participate in two construction and decoration renovation projects with a talented cabinetmaker, wooden structures such as hobbit houses and medieval taverns. I learned a lot about wood construction. Thanks to Luc and his family for their welcome and their trust.
- I completed a full season as a handler in a sled dog kennel, in which my missions ranged from training dogs, welcoming customers, building and repairing sleds to outings for several days on an expedition with tent assembly, wood stove installation and any activity for survival in the woods. Thank you to the whole team for this extraordinary experience.
I renewed the experience for two months in another kennel in the Yukon to have another vision of this experience. Thanks to Pierre-Luc for his welcome and his learning.
- I was also able to learn the basics of the vegetable garden, the art of cutting trees in the forest, and various very interesting skills in other shorter but equally immersive Workaways.
I am interested in all new experiences, I learn quickly, have facilities in manual activities, the handling of various tools, know how to take initiatives and do not hesitate to ask questions if I do not have the knowledge to achieve a task entrusted to me.

FR : Je suis électricien de métier. Je suis donc partant pour tous les travaux de type électrique ainsi que tous les travaux manuels en général. Curieux de nature, apprendre de nouvelles compétences ne me fais pas peur, bien au contraire.
