I'm semi-retired, enjoying the freedom of travel and helping others. In my youth I did many workcamps, doing outdoor work and light construction with other young people from many countries, for a local non-profit or social services organization. Now I am enjoying similar experiences, bringing my skills as a homesteader and team player to bear for a worthy goal, be it sustainability, historic preservation, social welfare, etc.

This was a lovely workaway. I enjoyed interacting with the whole family, and felt good satisfaction at being able to help move the renovation project forward by sanding, taping, and painting. Working time was nicely balanced with free time for exploring. Thank you Emmy, Andre, Anne, and Mart!
