Description
I have a humble little 3 acre property accompanying a three bedroom home/ a renovated shouse and a five pen insulated chook shed that has been converted into a wonderful decked out entertainment/ wellbeing space with its own kitchenette.
I live here with my partner Mark who is a yoga teacher and social work student, he teaches weekly in town on Monday afternoons and Wednesday mornings , he also works at the local high school.
The land is 3 acres a-joining two other properties that breed and home highlander cattle, beef cattle, goats, sheep, pigs and chickens.
Ive been on the properrt for four years implimenting permaculture principles, growing as much food as I can (on my own) attending to the orchard/ lawns and revovations and land scaping. The property consists of 12 fruit tree's + and two organic garden vegi beds., five chickens and a little dog called Franki.
I am a 43yr old cis male working from home on a rotating 7 day fortnight roster as a coach.
The ideal exchange would be accomodation and food exchange for some help and work on the land.
The renovated space is ideal for someone to come and join us on the property and for you to have space as you need while also engaging and living and working alongside us on the property.
There is two options, a room in the house or a six metre glamping bell tent that sits in the orchard, you can choose which room you prefer when you arrive.
I am looking to invite one or two people to join us here on the property to support me in the up keep of the property and - Skill share/ working bee's, cultural exchange and develop connection, community and co-creation.
Tentefield has a thriving community, wonderful wine bars and restaurant- oh and myself and my partner are in a band and we host gigs occasionally alongside public gigs, its lots of fun.
My Long term vision is to permaculture design the property, bring in the birds and wildlife and establish greater biodiversity. . We will have our three person outdoor spa arriving in Jan 26, Shortly after we will be welcoming the sauna and cold plunge to the outdoor well-being space.
Some practical handyman skills would serve us well here.
