Description
Hello! We are Thomas and Paloma. We love Workaway and are so grateful to have had so many great work exchange experiences. We are hard working and respectful, we love to learn, and are both Covid vaccinated. Below is a more detailed account of our skills and experiences. We look forward to meeting you!

From August of 2020 to May 2021 we lived and worked on organic and off-grid farms in California, Washington, Idaho, and Colorado. We gained skills in gardening, sewing, animal care (goats, chickens, ducks, pigs, rabbits), collecting and splitting firewood, building with cobb, irrigation installation, greenhouse care, and much more!

At the end of 2021 did a work exchange in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico where we volunteered at a dog rescue for over two months. This was a great experience for learning how to work independently with a team of volunteers.

We spent most of 2022 Workawaying throughout Europe. We worked on farms and homesteads from Portugal to Croatia. We also spent two great months at a BnB in Ireland and gained several skills in hospitality and food service along the way.

We spent 2023-2026 living and working in San Francisco, and since March have been doing farm exchanges through WWOOF across the US. We are now in the New Orleans area, looking forward to continuing our journey and exploring new opportunities to learn from more amazing Workaway hosts!

We have basic technical skills and knowledge when it comes to sustainable agriculture, and are looking to learn much more. Thomas has a Bachelors degree in Biopsychology and Paloma has a Bachelors in Public Health Sciences. We are happy to send or share resumes and references, so please reach out if interested.

We had a lovely 3 weeks staying with Irene! She was so kind and always made sure we felt at home. Her home is beautiful and we enjoyed spending time with her and her 4 kitties. We mostly looked after her cats and did a few tasks around her home. We had a fantastic time and we'll really miss her!

We had an amazing stay with Imma! While we only stayed 5 days, our experience couldn't have been better. We weren't able to meet Josep-Miquel but Imma took great care of us and made sure we were comfortable and well fed.

We had an excellent stay with Christine and her family. We were treated with kindness and always felt looked after when it came to how we were doing with the work, accommodation, and food.
