Hi there 👋! I’m Nina, from the Netherlands.
Currently I am on a journey to go from the Netherlands to Vietnam over land, (mostly) traveling through hitch hiking and workaway. I love to travel slowly and really experience the places I go to.

I’ve always loved animals, and being around them makes me happy. I would really enjoy helping take care of pets or farm animals, and I am comfortable in doing so. I’m also very good with cleaning and organizing, and I’m always happy to help wherever needed.

I enjoy trying new things and learning new skills, and I’m open to helping with different types of tasks. Through Workaway, I hope to not only support my hosts but also grow, learn new skills, and create genuine connections along the way.

barista / waitress:
Last year I worked in a cafe, I learned how to be a barista there. And I always loved working with people. So I enjoyed it very much.

animal care:
I worked on 2 different alpaca farms, so learned a little bit of working with animals and about farm life.

child care / entertainment:
For over 5 years I was a scouts leader and I loved it! I learned how to work with kids and with big groups, also how to organise group activities.

organic shop:
The first job I got was working in a organic grocery shop, I learned how to manage a little bakery and how to open and close the shop. Is also picked up alot of cleaning skills there.

creativity;
I always loved to draw, paint and write. Or really anything creative, Arts and Crafts was always my favorite subject in school. And nowadays I still do a lot of drawing and writing in my free time.

workaways;
As last I did alot of different workaways, I learned alot of different and new skills from each of them and I am very greatfull for all of them.

In my free time, you’ll usually find me outside in nature. I love hiking and wildcamping or other outside activities!

Nina is a darling who came to my "rescue" in a very short notice, and house sit-ed my home, 4 dogs, 2 spoiled cats, 8 chickens and a rooster for a week. She kept everyone happy and house clean. I wish her a safe journey and hope to welcome her again.

She was also always busy in the kitchen baking cakes, tidying up and helping out.
