Description
Hi fellow humans! I'm Anja 🌱
I’ve recently decided to leave my comfortable life in Germany and set off on a long-awaited world journey to learn more about what it means to be human – by connecting with people, supporting local communities, and discovering new ways of living.
What I love is philosophy, literature, deep conversations, yoga (beginner), bouldering (just starting!), and breathtaking nature sites. What makes me happiest is small human connections – like exchanging a smile with a stranger 🙂
Let me share one thought with you – if you would meet one person every day for 70 years how many people do you think you will meet? Imagine or not – around 25 000. Conclusion – even if you meet one person every day for almost a lifetime you will be able to meet just around 0.0003°% of the whole world population. Which somehow makes every person whom you meet on your life journey more special and valuable.
I'm truly looking forward if you or your community become part of my 0.0003% ✨

More details about your skills
My background is in Educational Psychology (MA) and NGO work. For years I coordinated international youth projects, focusing on cultural exchange, youth activism, mental health and media literacy. I’ve also volunteered in a science center, refugee center, mentored youngsters and at the age of 22 was even leading a committe of AIESEC (largest international student organisation). I was an au pair when I was 19 and since then I have two families - one biological, and one in Madrid, Spain. At the age of 25 I did a volunteering abroad for a year in North of Germany in one NGO, where I stayed and work up until now. All these experiences taught me responsibility, teamwork, and how to adapt to different intercultural contexts.
I can definitely share my skills and knowledge gathered through my psychology studies, project management, youth work, but I’m also very motivated to learn practical/manual skills like gardening, building, or anything new you’d like to teach me.
