Travelling
Description
Hello! I’m Molly, and I’m from the UK, 40 minutes south of London. I’m currently on a gap year after completing my degree in Philosophy and Politics. I absolutely love the outdoors and any excuse for an adventure, so travelling brings me a lot of joy. I am at my happiest when surrounded by nature, and i have a huge obsession with the sky (i am always chasing sunrises and sunsets!)
In my spare time I love playing guitar, playing sports, and reading. Team sports is what I'm really passionate about, and I loved my experience of playing rugby at university.
I am very good with people, and adapting to different situations quickly and calmly. I also am very open to new experiences, as I always want to be pushing myself outside my comfort zone and I love meeting new people and experiencing different cultures. I had a great couple of experiences 4 years ago with workaway in Italy where I au paired, and so I’m excited to see who I meet in New Zealand and the new experiences I’ll have!Interests

More details about your skills
Customer service: I have worked as a waitress for several years in my school holidays at various pubs/cafe’s. I’ve also worked as a receptionist in a care home, and have volunteered at my local charity shop. So I’ve learn how to deal with a variety of customers and deliver in a pressured/high paced environment.
Building/physical labor: In 2019 I travelled to Nepal for a 5 week expedition with Raleigh International. For 3 of those weeks I volunteered in a community affected by the devastating 2015 earthquake. We reinstalled their water pipe system, and built new tap stands. We did a lot of digging, working with concrete, and pipe cutting. I developed my leadership skills, and met some amazing people, learning how to work in a team of other volunteers who I didn’t know.
Childcare: I’ve worked at a kids holiday camp, looking after big groups of children. I also au paired in Italy for 3 months looking after a baby boy which was amazing. I’ve also babysat/nannied many times.
Cleaning: I have worked as a cleaner of people’s houses, cleaning all areas of the house.
Gardening: I regularly help my family out in the garden, doing things like mowing, weeding, planting.
Cooking: I love to cook/bake and discover new recipes/cuisine; I cook regularly for my family and friends.
I am willing to get stuck into anything and try new things. I am a fast learner!Age
