Description
Hello community ❣️ We are Mihaela & Hermis. We first met 2 years ago in a plant medicine retreat near Cuenca, Ecuador, up in the Andes mountains, around the sacred fire with a group of lovely people from all over the world that came there to heal and connect with themselves. Mihaela was there initially for 3 months as a volunteer which then was extended to 6 months and Hermis was living in Ecuador for 7 years and was working at the retreat during ceremonies, assisting and playing music 🎵

About us:
Mihaela/ Miky ☺️: Born in Romania, studied Physiotherapy in Bucharest, worked different jobs during college and university, worked as a physiotherapist in Romania for a while, decided to move to England in 2018, worked for NHS until 2023 when she decided to donate all her clothes, sell her car and embark on a adventure in South America with only one backpack and lots of excitement for life 🍄 Miky loves food, music, colours, painting, DYI projects, gardening, animals.

Hermis: Born in Venezuela, studied Law in Caracas, family moved to Ecuador while studying so in his 4th year decided to remain in Ecuador with his family and left Venezuela behind. Worked in different areas such as construction, assistant in healthcare, translator, playing music, etc. He is traveling with his cuatro (Venezuelan national instrument) and his flute 🍄 Hermis loves any type of music, he loves nature and being surrounded by positivity in general.

Together, we would like to say we make a great team 🤩 we enjoy eachother's company, we like to have interesting conversations that always lead to personal and spiritual growth, we work great in team, just us or alongside other volunteers/ hosts, we like to spend our free time together but also we enjoy company, great conversation and if this involves food, music or sitting by the fire, even better 🔥

We've been travelling together in South America in Ecuador and Colombia and we continued our adventures in Europe in Spain, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Montenegro, Albania and we are now back in Spain 🌀 during our travels, we made contact with only amazing hosts here on this platform which received us in their home with open arms, we either looked after their place while they went on holiday or we looked after their lovely pets, we worked together on different projects around the property (gardening, painting, etc) either independently or with other volunteers.. what we are trying to say is that we are easy going, adaptable and we love to help and see that we made a positive difference ☺️

Their house is up in the mountains near Comares and they really have the best view in the world! We stayed 4 weeks at Caravan Park where we were warm welcomed by Alper, Didam, his parents and the team in their cozy restaurant. The work was flexible and we mainly worked in maintenance of the caravan space; the project we worked on was clearing a part of the property where were lots of things that needed to be trashed, reorganized, moved, etc… read more

Linda is such a sweet lady with a huge love for animals and Deni and Will helped me get around in the first day to the shops and told me what I can do around Santa Marianita.
