Description
Hello,
We are Amo and Marie, a French couple travelling around Australia since January 2025.
During the winter season, we live in La Rosière, in the French Alps. We love the mountains and enjoy sports such as skiing and snowboarding.
Marie worked as a manager in a ski shop located in a 4-star hotel, and during the summer season, she worked as a joiner for an apartment renovation company.
Amo worked as a maintenance technician in the same 4-star hotel during the winter and as a plumber for an apartment renovation company during the summer (not the same company this time 😉).
Between seasons, we return home to Île d'Yeu, a small island off the west coast of France. Over the last five years, we have built our own house from scratch by ourselves. We rent it out while we are away.
Thanks to our professional backgrounds and to building our own house, we have learned many practical skills and are comfortable with all kinds of hands-on work.
We enjoy helping others and are happy to assist with maintenance, DIY projects, renovations, gardening, painting, cleaning, or any other tasks that need doing. We are quick learners, reliable, and always willing to lend a hand.
More than anything, we look forward to meeting new people, sharing experiences, and discovering different ways of life along the way. -
