Description
My name is Margot, I’m a native Austinite, and I’ve been using Workaway on and off for 8 years now. Yeehaw! I love meeting new people and trying and experiencing new things. I’ve had almost every job under the sun and am really keen on acquiring new skills. Currently I love and would like to get more into art, music, writing, film, theater, languages and anything outdoors! You can typically find me on a dancefloor, in a cafe, journaling, reading, cooking up something delicious, napping, or in transit to a new place. If you know how to play guitar or surf or speak Italian (or any other language), I’d love to learn! I’ve worked with kids for over 10 years and have also worked as a ski instructor, a camp counselor, an artists’ assistant, a law intern, a receptionist, and have recently found my passion in the film industry! I’m very can-do and hardworking and believe that everything in life is either a blessin’ or a lesson. I think people are what makes life so good and interesting and beautiful and fun and that chosen family is everything. I’ve explored a lot of Europe and now I’m looking to see more of North America, particularly the East Coast and Canada.

Feedback
It's been way too long, but I've finally gotten around to writing this feedback! I stayed a week at Andy's along with the fabulous Xochilt & Morgane (long live the donkey/chicken tribe!), and it was by far one of the best workaways I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. In those seven days, absolutely no time was wasted and I … read more
Although only for a week, she embraced all jobs with enthusiasm and great humour. Along with two Workawayers from Quebec we had a great team and managed to accomplish a multitude of tasks.
A top workawayer definately!
Happy travels, they'll always be a place here for you...
Kind regards, Andy

This honestly was a great first Workaway experience for me! I stayed a month here working alongside the other volunteers and the family, and learned a lot about the intricacies of the South African lifestyle as well as what it takes to run a busy backpackers. Working here almost had a summer camp vibe to it, along with endless … read more
