Description
Hello! My name is Margay Kaplan, I was born and raised in New York City, but have long been hearing the call to reconnect much more deeply with nature, plants, flowers, medicinal herbs, and the healing and wisdom of our natural world which I believe is calling to us all at this time. So it is my intention to answer this call! I feel so grateful to have found this platform to connect with such generous souls and other curious travelers, and also to participate in what feels like a truly sacred exchange of energies, outside the dominant world of monetary exchange.
I am interested in sustainable living, healthy community, heart centered service, all kinds of spiritual expansion, really seeking to learn about growing food and herbs and other plants through respectful, reciprocal land stewardship. I am curious and motivated to learn any skills related to a self sufficient lifestyle, and ways of living that are more about harm reduction and giving back to one another, earth, and spirit.
My background has been in food and hospitality, I love to express generosity and nourishment through cooking for others. I love to work with my hands and learn very quickly. I studied photography in school and love anything creative, am fairly skilled in drawing, painting, would love to help with any creative projects. -
