*we will need help again starting in May 2022! If you are a baker looking for a great place to live and work next season we would love to hear from you.
We are a couple with one daughter who own and operate a small and very busy seasonal bakery on the Sunshine Coast of BC. We also have 12 acres of rainforest and are in the process of creating our permaculture gardens and building a new greenhouse in the 3 acres that have been cleared.
We provide local, organic and fresh food, drinks and delicious baked goods to the many tourists who come to visit the Provincial Park and Sunshine Coast locals.

There are opportunities to learn about BC and the Sunshine Coast and First Nations culture, and to interact with many different visitors to the area. We live in the coastal rainforest and next to the second largest tidal bore in the world.
You can learn English and also learn about BC ecosystems and the local area and help us build our local food system.
This project could involve children. For more information see our guidelines and tips here.

We have a seasonal bakery and are looking for help getting our Organic garden and greenhouse established. The aim is to be able to provide the majority of produce needed from our own gardens.
If you have experience in baking, making sandwiches, making espresso drinks or serving customers, we could use your help in the bakery this season.
We are also seeking help with general house and yard maintenance/upkeep.
We have one small cabin for private accomodation as well as a canvas tent and trailer with kitchen facilities.
There are many sights to see and experience in the area for the adventurous spirit. We are at the gateway to Princess Louisa Inlet, there is kayaking and many hiking trails nearby, we have a private dock on the lake and 12 acres of west coast rainforest. Yet, we are only 3 hours away form downtown Vancouver!
